Anxiety depression disorder

What is anxiety depression disorder? What is the difference between anxiety and depression?

Many people wonder what the difference between depression and anxiety is. There is a big difference between the two. You can be anxious without being depressed, but if you are depressed, chances are you are going to be anxious most of the time...

So, yes, in a way being depressed is worse than being anxious. But being anxious often – in many situations – can lead to depression.

So how can you tell them apart? Well, when you are depressed, everything around you is negative. The future is hopeless and largely out of your control. Your shortcomings are evidence of being ‘bad’, or ‘broken’. You avoid tasks in general because they are overwhelming, and after all doing them is not going to make a difference. You expect failure, and often give up without even trying. You have all-encompassing thoughts such as, ‘I'll never be as capable as I once was’, or ‘It'll never get better’.
